Weedle Pharmacy has being serving the people of North Cork for three
generations and is delighted to introduce our Vaccine service to help combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

Vaccination

We have a state-of-the-art vaccine facility in both our pharmacies. We have installed 10 private vaccination rooms in our Main Street premises and 5 private vaccination rooms in our Townview premises.

Vaccine Storage

Weedle Pharmacy have invested in the most modern refrigeration equipment for the Covid-19 vaccines . We have freezers that can store the -70°C Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, the -20°C Moderna vaccine and the +2° to +8° Celsius AstraZeneca vaccine. These facilities are monitored by a cloud based, automated & wireless temperature monitoring system.

Pharmacy Team

Our team of six pharmacists are all highly trained in vaccines and you will be vaccinated by one of our skilled pharmacists. They have undergone intensive training in vaccine storage, aseptic preparation, vaccine administration and are there to answer any concerns and your questions.

Our Pharmacy Team

Lead by our Superintendent Pharmacist, Prof. Peter Weedle the pharmacist team includes Kevin Clarke, Mairead Fleming, Jayne Kelleher, Sinead Neville and Yasmin Safar Hamidi. The pharmacists will be supported by our pharmacy technicians and other staff.

Our vaccine service is provided free of any charge to you. The Government of Ireland is making the Covid-19 vaccine free to all through the HSE, who supply it to us in Weedle Pharmacy.
